Another aspect of Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) knowledge bestowed by Allah is that he will know abjad calculation and its secrets. Taskopruluzade Ahmet Efendi has recorded in his Mawduat-ul'Ulum (Vol.11/ p. 246) that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will know the science of onomancy:
"Some of them said this book that has reached maturity is attributed to the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as) who is expected to appear in the End Times. He is very competent of the science of jifr and its secrets. This knowledge is the kind of wisdom that reached from the books endowed to the prophets of the past." ( Ibrahim Suleymanoglu, Mehdilik ve Imamiye [Mahdism and Imamate], p. 252)

People will deffinitely recognize these individuals by their works on the realm of thier own Spiritual potential mostly people ignore thier self concieousness and that's why they fail to understand them properly. Hazrat Baqr (a.s) told Aban ibn Taglib: The Imamate is a monument come down to us from the Messenger of Allah... Hazrat Mahdi (as) is one of us and will protect the faith in the End Times. (Al-Hurr al-Amili, Ithbata al-Hudat, vol. 2, p. 559)
The signs Allah has revealed through the mouth of our Prophet (saas) will identify him as the Mahdi. He will not claim to be him and one of these signs is the fact that, “HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) WILL BE THE PERSON BEST ABLE TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT HAZRAT MAHDI (AS).”
Hazrat Mahdi (as) Will Not Say, ‘I am Hazrat Mahdi (as); ‘But Allah Will Raise The Fog of Heedlessness From Before People’s Eyes And Enable Them To Grasp The Truth of Hazrat Mahdi (as).”
This (Amr) [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will fill earth with justice, just as people previously filled it with cruelty. (Sunan Ibn Majah, 10/348)
His [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh)] justice will cover all places and he will rule among people with the Sunna of the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). He will even also call for one who is in need to be brought forward, and when that command is obeyed only one person will come. (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar, p. 20.)
Righteousness will be his [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh)] belt, and faithfulness the sash around his waist. (Isaiah, 11:5)
... A scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom... (Psalms, 45:6-7)
One from the house of David [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)]... who in judging seeks justice... (Isaiah, 16:5)
With righteousness he [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will judge the needy... (Isaiah, 11:4)
[Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is] righteous and having salvation, gentle ... (Zechariah, 9:9)
"The days are coming," declares the Lord, "when I will raise up to David a righteous branch, a king [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land." (Jeremiah, 23:5)
"Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit," says the Lord Almighty. (Zechariah, 4:6)
I will take away the chariots from Ephraim and the war-horses from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be broken... (Zechariah, 9:10)
His [Hazrat Mahdi's (pbuh)] great righteousness and the wonders that he will bring about will cause all peoples to make peace with him and all lands to serve him... (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Sanhedrin, 10:1)
(In the days of the Messiah [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)])... battles and wars will cease... "They will not lift a sword, nation against nation." (Maimonides, Mishnah Torah, Sanhedrin 10:1)
For he [Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)] will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. (Psalms, 72:12)
